Dubai’s private school students are sharing insights about their wellbeing and happiness in the annual Wellbeing Census.
More than 100,000 pupils from grades 6 to 12 will participate in the study run by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).
It touches on topics related to relationships at school and at home, student engagement with teaching and learning, and their feelings about the future.
Over 20,000 staff will also participate in the 'Adults@School Wellbeing Survey' to help teachers and school staff better understand and improve their own well-being.
The 2020 census showed that students in Dubai were getting more sleep, having breakfast more regularly, and enjoying closer relationships with their teachers.
The Dubai Student Wellbeing Census is a five-year project. Data collection for the 2021 census and survey will start from November 1.
