Starting May 17, wedding parties can be held in Dubai, with the attendance capped at 100 if the ceremony is held at hotels or other venues.
That's according to the latest guidelines announced by Dubai's Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management, which added that all attendees and staff must be vaccinated.
The authority added that ceremonies held at homes will be capped at 30, with all precautionary measures put in place.
It said live entertainment and activities will be allowed to be held in restaurants, cafes and shopping malls, and bars can reopen. These will be reviewed after a month.
Entertainment venues will be allowed to increase capacity to 70 per cent, while hotels can run full occupancy.
Music concerts, community sports, spectator and social events will be allowed on the condition that all attendees, participants and staff have been vaccinated. Spectators will be capped at 1,500 for indoor events and 2,500 for outdoor events.
Seating limits per table at restaurants will be increased to 10, and six at Shisha venues.
Meanwhile, restaurants can resume brunches and bars will be permitted to reopen, provided all customers and staff have received the COVID-19 vaccine.
Safety protocols like face masks and social distancing rules will continue to be mandatory.

Operations teams at facilities will be trained to check people's vaccination certificates before granted entry into an event.
That's according to Dr. Hanan Al Suwaidi, Vaccination and Testing Workstream lead at the COVID 19 Command and Control Center in Dubai.
She explains how people can prove they've been vaccinated at an event.
