Northwesterly winds of up to 50 kilometres per hour are forecast in the UAE today.
The UAE's National Center of Meteorology has posted an update on social media, warning that waves of up to two metres in height are expected in parts of the Arabian Gulf.
The conditions are expected to last until 4:00 pm this afternoon.
