A reckless driver has been captured on police surveillance cameras in Abu Dhabi, crashing into other cars after jumping a red light.
Releasing the horrific footage on their social media handles, the Abu Dhabi Police reminded motorists that the traffic violation carries a fine of AED 1,000, 12 black points and the impoundment of the vehicle for 30 days.
The violator will need to pay AED 50,000 to secure the release of the impounded vehicle, and could have their driving licence suspended for six months.
If the owner doesn't claim the vehicle within three months, it will be auctioned off.
The authority urged drivers not to be distracted and to abide by the traffic rules.
