The UAE has dispatched a new aid ship to the Gaza Strip as part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people, coinciding with the start of the holy month of Ramadan.
The vessel, named Umm Al Emarat, is carrying more than 7,300 tonnes of relief supplies aimed at easing the suffering of civilians and meeting urgent needs on the ground.
Sixteen charitable and humanitarian organisations from across the Emirates contributed to preparing the shipment, which includes food items, shelter materials, Eid clothing, supplies for community kitchens and medical equipment.
The Umm Al Emarat is the 13th aid ship sent by the UAE to Gaza.
