Several parts of Dubai, Fujairah and Al Ain received heavy to moderate rain showers on Monday.
Residents took to social media platforms to post images and videos of the showers.
In fact, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, also shared a video of the rain on his Instagram account.
It comes as the National Centre of Meteorology issued a yellow and red alert until 12:20 am on Tuesday for internal and eastern parts of the UAE.
