The UAE and the United States have discussed ways to strengthen the defence partnership between the two countries.
A UAE delegation, led by Lieutenant General Issa bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, met with Amanda Dorey, US Undersecretary of Defence for Policy, at the Pentagon in Washington, DC.
Discussions included reviewing common security interests, discussing strategic goals and addressing regional challenges.
The United States reiterated its commitment to fostering a strong bilateral defense relationship with the UAE.
