The UAE aims to deliver more than 20,000 food parcels and 20,000 gallons of drinking water in the coming phases to help residents and families in the Philippines recover from the tragic earthquake.
The UAE response team recently distributed around 700 food parcels and 500 gallons of drinking water to families affected by the earthquake in the Philippines' Sarangani province.
The UAE team also conducted field visits to several affected areas, assessing their conditions and needs to ensure the greatest impact on the ground.
The 7.8 magnitude earthquake, which struck southern Philippines on June 8, killed at least 78 people and injured hundreds, with over 70,000 houses damaged.
