The UAE has strongly condemned the shooting incident at a school in Turkey that resulted in the deaths of at least nine people and injured 13 others on Wednesday.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) reiterated the UAE’s firm rejection of such criminal acts and all forms of violence and extremism aimed at undermining security and stability.
It also offered its sincere condolences to the victims' families, the government, and the people of Turkey, and wished a speedy recovery for all those injured.
The attack was the second school shooting faced by the country in two days.
