UAE sends more relief aid to flood-hit Nepal

WAM

A second UAE relief aircraft has arrived in Nepal, carrying 45 tonnes of aid for people affected by floods and landslides.

The aircraft, operated through the UAE Aid Agency, delivered essential food supplies, relief materials, power generators and other vital necessities.

The aid comes following the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who ordered $10 million in assistance for those affected by the disaster.

The latest delivery will provide urgent support to families, particularly in the worst-hit areas.

The initiative reflects the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian solidarity and to helping people in need during times of crisis.
