The UAE has sent an aid plane with six metric tons of medical supplies to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
According to national news agency WAM, the tools will assist around 6,000 healthcare professionals fighting COVID-19 in the African country.
To date, the UAE has sent over 646 metric tons of aid to 55 countries and has supported more than 646,000 medical professionals in the process.
