The UAE has sent an aid plane with seven metric tonnes of medical supplies to Bangladesh.
According to the UAE Ambassador to Bangladesh, the tools have been sent help curb the spread of COVID-19 in the South Asian country.
Around 7,000 healthcare workers will benefit from the items, as they work towards combating the coronavirus and treating patients.
To date, the UAE has provided more than 341 metric tonnes of aid to more than 33 countries and has supported nearly 341,000 medical professionals in the process.
