UAE responds to missile, drone threat early Saturday

The UAE said on Saturday early morning it was responding to incoming missile and drone threats from Iran.

An alert was issued at 12.08 a.m., advising the public to remain in a safe location. A second 'all clear" message was sent at 12..34 a.m. although urged the public to remain cautious while resuming normal activities.

The Ministry of Defence also assured the community the sounds heard were due to the successful interception operations carried out by air defences.
