UAE air forces have announced early on Friday that they are responding to incoming missile and drone threats from Iran.
An alert was issued at 5:47 am, advising the public to remain in a safe location. A second alert was sent out at 6:07 announcing that the situation is safe and operations can resume normally.
The Ministry of Defence also assured the community that the sounds heard are due to the successful interception operations carried out by its forces.
