The UAE confirmed 2,236 new cases of COVID-19 from 239,852 tests on Friday.
Another 2,206 people have recovered taking the overall tally to 545,229.
Four patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,668.
A total of 565,451 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 18,554 are currently active.
