The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and King Mohammed VI of Morocco have signed a declaration aimed at a "solid and innovative partnership" to develop economic, trade and investment cooperation.
This took place as part of a state visit by King Mohammed VI to the UAE.
The two sides will work towards achieving broader, more ambitious development goals in line with the aspirations of both nations and their people.
During the ceremony held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, the UAE and Morocco announced several memoranda of understanding (MoU), including those on high-speed train projects, as well as energy, water, capital markets, real estate, tourism, agriculture and fisheries sectors.
