UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has held talks with Egyptian leader Abdel Fattah El Sisi during his fraternal visit to country.
Sheikh Mohamed was received by the Egyptian President upon arrival at El Alamein International Airport.
The two leaders highlighted the deep rooted and historical relations shared between the two countries, national news agency Wam reported.
During several meetings over the year, the two leaders have reaffirmed the need for continued efforts to implement the two-state solution, recognising it as the pathway to achieving lasting and comprehensive peace and stability in the region.
Both leaders have always stressed the necessity of fostering peace and stability across the region, and prioritising the wellbeing of its nations and communities.
Sheikh Mohamed's fraternal visit to Egypt in March also highlighted historic ties, while during El Sisi's visit to the UAE in January the leaders explored ways to further strengthen the ties across key sectors.
