UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has stressed on the importance of maintaining the ceasefire in Gaza during a phone call with Jonas Gahr Støre, Prime Minister of Norway on Monday.
Both sides also highlighted the need to ensure the unhindered delivery of sufficient humanitarian aid to Palestinians through all available channels.
They also reiterated their countries’ support for all efforts to advance a political path based on the two-state solution, and reaffirmed their commitment to continue joint efforts that promote peace and stability in the Middle East and worldwide.
The two nations also discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including the economic, investment, and developmental fields.
