The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has held meetings with several leaders and heads of delegations at the World Governments Summit in Dubai.
Sheikh Mohamed met separately with Kuwait's Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Colombia’s President Gustavo Petro Urrego, Poland’s President Andrzej Duda, and Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between the UAE and these countries, particularly in economy, trade and development sectors, while exploring opportunities for sustainable growth.
The leaders also highlighted the importance of the summit’s topics in shaping the future of governance, to accelerate development and improve societies worldwide.
Additionally, Sheikh Mohamed visited the ‘Edge of Government’ exhibition, a major feature of the summit.
He explored various government initiatives and innovative solutions aimed at addressing global challenges, and emphasised the exhibition’s role in driving governance improvements and human development.
