UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Wednesday received Kuwait’s Defence Minister Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al‑Salem Al‑Sabah, who is in the UAE on a working visit.
Sheikh Abdullah will take part in the 'UAE-Kuwait: Brothers Forever' week, which begins on Thursday and runs across all seven emirates.
During the meeting at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the greetings of Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Mishal Al‑Ahmad Al‑Jaber Al‑Sabah, along with his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the UAE.
Sheikh Mohamed extended his congratulations to the Kuwaiti Emir on the upcoming national day celebrations, wishing him good health and continued prosperity for the Kuwaiti people.
The Kuwaiti minister thanked the UAE President for the warm welcome and the UAE’s participation in Kuwait’s National Day celebrations, praising the strong and longstanding ties between the two countries.
