UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah El Sisi have held talks aimed at further strengthening bilateral ties.
During a meeting at the Ittihadiya Presidential Palace in Cairo, the two leaders discussed a number of issues of interest and exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.
They explored opportunities to expand cooperation in various sectors and reaffirmed their support for efforts to promote stability and progress in the region.
Sheikh Mohamed underscored the long-standing relations between the UAE and Egypt and expressed his interest in strengthening them further.
El Sisi welcomed the UAE President's visit and expressed his pride in the close relations between both nations and their people.
He also hosted an Iftar banquet in honour of the UAE delegation, before accompanying them to Cairo International Airport for their departure.
