UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has discussed the ongoing escalation of Iran's missile strikes with Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in a phone call on Saturday.
The two leaders condemned the attacks carried out on the UAE, Kuwait, and other Arab countries in the region, stating that they threaten the security of the region and undermine its stability.
They added that the strikes are a violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
Both sides also stressed the need for an immediate cessation of all attacks and a return to dialogue and diplomatic solutions in order to preserve the security of the region and prevent further escalation.
