President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has called for a nationwide prayer for rain to be performed at all mosques across the country on Saturday, December, 7th.
The prayer is an Islamic tradition seeking Allah’s mercy to bless the nation with much-needed rain.
His Highness emphasised the importance of this act of faith and urged all citizens and residents to come together in prayer, following the Sunnah (traditions) of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
This call for prayer comes at a time when many parts of the UAE are experiencing dry conditions, and the nation is looking to the blessings of rain to support its agricultural and environmental needs.
All mosques across the UAE are expected to hold the prayer session at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 7th.
The call for prayer resonates with the spirit of solidarity, urging the entire nation to come together in hope and prayer.
