UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has arrived in Islamabad on an official visit to Pakistan.
He was received at Nur Khan Airbase by Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, along with ministers and senior officials.
As the President’s aircraft entered Pakistani airspace, it was escorted by military jets as a mark of welcome.
An official reception followed, with the national anthems of both countries played, a 21-gun salute, and an honour guard in attendance.
Military and traditional bands performed, while children waving UAE and Pakistani flags lined the arrival route.
