The UAE has expressed its sincere condolences and solidarity with India after heavy rains swept through the Himalayas, killing a number of people and causing extensive damage.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sympathy to the victim's families, the government and the people of India over this painful loss.
According to media reports, the heavy rains killed at least 36 people on Wednesday, with a single landslide disaster causing the death of 33 people.
