The UAE has expressed its solidarity with Bangladesh over the victims of a fire that broke out in a container warehouse on Saturday.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) said that the UAE offers its condolences to the government and people of Bangladesh and to the families of the victims while wishing a speedy recovery to all the injured.
At least 49 people were killed in the fire that broke out in an inland container depot at Sitakund, near the port city of Chittagong.
The blaze was brought under control four days after it began on Saturday.
