The "Alef platform" aims to provide the nation's public schools with the latest digital innovations, including Artificial Intelligence and Big Data.
The Ministry of Education's platform is capable of adapting to the changes caused by COVID-19 pandemic and can help with the challenges posed by distance learning.
Alef Education will also conduct virtual sessions for teachers on a monthly basis to cover the platform's latest upgrades.
The system is being launched in stages at 196 schools in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Qaiwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
It will be used to teach more than 40,000 students from the fifth to the ninth grades in the six core subjects. These are Arabic and English languages, mathematics, science, Islamic and social studies.
The platform will be available for Grades 10,11 and 12 during the next academic year.
