The UAE Accountability Authority has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission to enhance cooperation in anti-corruption and promote the exchange of expertise.

The partnership also aims to promote transparency and integrity, advance joint efforts to combat corruption, and support good governance frameworks in line with international best practices in anti-corruption.

The agreement was signed at the UAE Accountability Authority’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi between Humaid Obaid Abu Shibs, Chairman of the UAE Accountability Authority, and Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Haji Azam bin Baki, Chief Commissioner of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, during his official visit to the UAE

The initiative underscores the commitment of the two authorities to advancing international cooperation in accountability, transparency, and anti-corruption efforts in both countries.
