His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, held a meeting in Dubai.
Their Highnesses reviewed the UAE’s development priorities and strategic direction for the year ahead, and focused on advancing the country’s long-term vision for comprehensive and sustainable development.
The meeting, held at Al Marmoom Rest House in Dubai, was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance.
Their Highnesses also explored key milestones achieved over the past year that have strengthened the UAE’s global standing, supported national progress and enhanced quality of life for citizens and residents. They reaffirmed that human wellbeing remains the foundation of all development efforts and a central pillar of the nation’s future plans.
During the meeting, the leaders exchanged New Year greetings, expressing hope that 2026 would bring continued prosperity, stability and progress for the UAE under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with the support of the Rulers of the Emirates and members of the Federal Supreme Council.
They also voiced their hope that the new year would see peace, stability and cooperation prevail across the region and the world, and that it would open new opportunities for collaboration and collective action in the interest of global development.
