UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a message of condolence to Chinese leader Xi Jinping after severe floods left several people dead in Beijing.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, also sent similar messages to the Chinese President.
They also wished the injured a speedy recovery.
At least 20 people have died and thousands of people in Bejing and surrounding areas evacuated due to the adverse weather.
