UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has continued his extensive engagement with world leaders to stop the escalating violence, mobilise international efforts and protect civilians in Gaza.
This included talks with King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan, Egyptian leader Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, EU President Ursula von der Leyen and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The UAE President emphasised the urgent need to protect vulnerable groups, especially children, women and the elderly, in addition to the release of hostages.
He also called for the immediate establishment of humanitarian corridors to deliver relief aid to Gaza, ensuring the safety of these routes and enabling humanitarian organisations to fulfill their responsibilities.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, also discussed the latest developments in the region and ways to defuse the ongoing escalation between Gaza and Israel in telephone calls with world diplomats.
He spoke to his counterparts in Germany, Annalena Baerbock, Luxembourg's Jean Asselborn, and Malaysia's Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir.
