The UAE Innovation Month, 'UAE Innovates 2025', kicks off on Saturday, February 1, celebrating a decade of groundbreaking innovation across the country.
The event, under the theme "The Power of 10 – Where Does Your Strength Lie?" will bring together government, private sectors and the community to showcase how innovation has transformed life in the UAE.
This year's edition coincides with the tenth anniversary of the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation.
Throughout February, activities will take place across the seven emirates, culminating in the UAE Innovates Exhibition in Dubai, showcasing innovations that have made a significant impact on government work and society over the past decade.
Other major highlights include the fifth edition of the UAE Innovates Awards that will honour projects that have shaped the nation’s growth.
The event also features the Pitch@Gov programme, focusing on renewable energy solutions, offering university students the chance to win up to AED 200,000.
The closing ceremony on February 26 will celebrate the winners of the UAE Innovates Awards, and also recognise partners, and the transformative impact of innovation in the UAE.
This year’s edition coincides with the declaration of 2025 as the 'Year of Community' in the UAE. The evaluation and selection of winning projects will prioritize their impact on various segments of society.
