Loading has begun at Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi for the 'Hamdan Humanitarian Ship 9', which will soon set sail for Egypt’s Al Arish Port before its cargo is transferred into Gaza.
The ship is carrying 7,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid, including food supplies, ready-to-eat meals, resources for community kitchens, five ambulances and vital health sector support.
This mission is part of 'Operation Chivalrous Knight 3', the UAE’s ongoing effort to support the Palestinian people.
It follows directives from His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent.
