The UAE has paid rich tributes to its soldiers who have returned home after serving in Yemen as part of the Arab Coalition's Operation Restoring Hope.
They have been honoured in a grand ceremony in Abu Dhabi in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as well as His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Their Highnesses Rulers of the Emirates, Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers also attended the event organised by the UAE Armed Forces at the Zayed Military City.
The UAE's leaders were invited to inspect the forces and walk among them as the military band played.
They were also briefed about the UAE's achievements during its five-year involvement in the Arab Coalition's efforts to restore the legitimate government in Yemen.
