The UAE has extradited a criminal wanted on the Interpol red list to Netherlands following his arrest in Dubai.
In a statement, the Ministry of Interior said the "handover took place following a court ruling and a decision by the Ministry of Justice to extradite him".
The fugitive, whose name was not released, faces charges of drug trafficking, money laundering and involvement in gang-related activities.
The ministry said the move reaffirms the country’s commitment to international legal procedures and emphasizes the importance of international cooperation in combatting transnational crime.
