The UAE expressed its solidarity with Bosnia and Herzegovina over the victims of floods and landslides caused by heavy rainfall, which resulted in at least 22 deaths and extensive damage.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy with the government and people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to the families of the victims.
Record rainfall in the country has killed at least 22 people with others still missing. More rainfall is expected, prompting the civil protection service to order the immediate evacuation of citizens from the endangered Jablanica and Konjic regions, that bore the brunt of the first flood.
