Motorists in the UAE whose driving licences are due to expire over the next three months can now renew them online.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the service comes into effect on Sunday, March 29.
All driving licences will be renewed for up to one year, regardless of fines, black points or eye tests.
The decision allows customers to process their transactions via smart applications or the Ministry’s website.
It’s the latest in a series of measures to ensure that all vital services in the UAE are provided without interruption.
