The UAE has dispatched the largest convoy of water tankers to northern Gaza as it aims to restore access to safe drinking water for hundreds of Palestinians displaced by two years of devastating conflict.
In addition to the water supply, food parcels and other humanitarian aid have been deployed to hundreds of displaced families in northern Gaza.
It comes under the UAE's ‘Operation Chivalrous Knight 3' campaign that aims to support affected households and ease their suffering.
On Wednesday, the UAE airlifted 57 patients from the Gaza Strip, along with their family members.
It's the 29th medical evacuation carried out by the UAE International Aid Agency in line with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s directive to treat 1,000 wounded Palestinians and 1,000 cancer patients in hospitals across the Emirates.
