The UAE has denied false and unfounded claims that it would assume civilian administration of Gaza.
Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, said Gaza’s governance and administration remain the responsibility of the Palestinian people.
She also underscored the UAE’s commitment to expanding humanitarian support for Palestinians in Gaza.
Al Hashimy added that the UAE remains focused on advancing a durable peace between Israelis and Palestinians, including through its role as a founding member of the Board of Peace and its membership on the Gaza Executive Board.
