The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has detected 405 cases of fake Emiratisation at private sector companies during the first half of this year.

The Ministry said the complicit companies signed contracts with all the necessary elements required for Emiratisation quotas, but failed to provide a real employment relationship with the 'recruited' Emirati national.

It added that the breaches in company adherence to the policy is a "limited negative practice" and reportedly does not constitute a phenomenon in the UAE labor market.

Emiratisation aims to enable Emirati nationals to actively participate in the country's development process, support its economy, and increase their contribution to the national economy, the ministry said.

The authority called on citizens and members of the community to report any cases of fake nationalization they may encounter by contacting the Ministry at 600590000, the Labor Counseling Center at 80084, the ministry's smart app, or its website.
