A UAE delegation led by Foreign Minister, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has attended the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The summit’s being attended by nearly 100 heads of state and government as well as a majority of foreign ministers of UN Member States. Earlier, Sheikh Abdullah chaired a consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers on the margins of the UN session. They addressed developments in the occupied Palestinian Territories, the situation in Syria, Yemen and Libya, as well as ways of fighting terrorism and extremism in the region.
