The UAE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Nasser Al Alawi, met with the South Korean Minister of Defense, Ahn Joo Bak, as the two countries look to enhance defence cooperation.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Lieutenant General Al Alawi visited Sacheon Air Base, where he toured the prototype of the KF-21 aircraft.
He also participated in a joint flight alongside Lieutenant General Lee Young Soo, Chief of Staff of the Korean Air Force, aboard an FA-50 fighter jet, as part of a demonstration of the national capabilities of locally manufactured Korean aircraft.

This official participation by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence is part of a visit by a high-level Emirati delegation to the Republic of Korea.
The visit includes several meetings and events aimed at enhancing defence cooperation and exchanging expertise in areas of mutual interest.
