The UAE has strongly condemned the armed attack that targeted a nursery in northeastern Thailand, killing at least 37 people, including children.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has expressed its condolences to the Thai government and people and to the families of the victims.
It also wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack.
At least 22 children were among those who died in the knife and gun rampage at the daycare centre in Uthai Sawan, a town 500 km northeast of Bangkok.
The attacker has been identified as a former policeman who was dismissed from his post last year over drug allegations and was facing trial.
Police said he later shot dead his wife and child at their home before turning his weapon on himself.
