The UAE has strongly condemned renewed Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting civilian sites and facilities.
Three Indian nationals were injured in the strikes on Monday.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks mark a dangerous escalation and an unacceptable violation of international law, posing a direct threat to the UAE’s security, stability and territorial integrity.
The UAE reaffirmed that it will not compromise on its sovereignty, and reserves the right to respond in accordance with international law to protect its territory and the safety of its citizens, residents and visitors.
It also stressed that targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure is a clear breach of legal and humanitarian standards, calling for an immediate halt to such attacks.
The UAE has held Iran fully responsible for the strikes and their consequences.
