The UAE has strongly condemned the Iranian missile strike targeting Turkey, considering these hostile acts a dangerous escalation, and violation of state sovereignty.
In a statement, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) affirmed that the expansion of attacks to additional countries is condemned under all legal and political norms.
The ballistic missile was intercepted and destroyed by NATO air defences after it entered Turkish airspace, and The Ministry added that the attacks undermine de-escalation efforts and heighten regional tensions.
The statement read: "We consider these hostile acts to be a dangerous escalation, a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of states, and a direct threat to the security and stability of the region.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement that the continued targeting of brotherly and friendly countries is condemned by all legal and political standards, and constitutes an unacceptable escalation that increases the tension in the region."
