The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned an attack that targeted Saudi forces in a coalition forces camp in the Yemeni city of Seiyun, which resulted in the deaths of two military officers and the injury of another.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said the UAE expressed its strong condemnation and permanent rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability in contravention of international law.
The Ministry reiterated its full solidarity with the Saudi forces participating with the coalition forces in operations to maintain security, stability and peace in Yemen, stressing the UAE’s firm support for the measures undertaken by the Kingdom to safeguard its security and the safety of its soldiers and citizens.
Furthermore, the Ministry expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Saudi Arabia, and to the families of the victims, as well as its wishes for a speedy recovery for all the injured.
