UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Chad's leader Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno have reviewed bilateral ties during a meeting at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi.
The leaders also explored opportunities for further collaboration in several key areas including economic, trade, development, and renewable energy sectors, national news agency Wam reported.
Sheikh Mohamed affirmed the UAE’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with African nations to promote lasting progress and shared economic growth.
Itno is in the country on a work visit to attend the UAE–Chad Trade and Investment Forum in Abu Dhabi, which saw the launch of the ‘Chad Connection 2030’ national development plan.
The Chad President noted that the Forum achieved significant progress in expanding bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially related to investment and economy.
