UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has awarded the Order of Zayed, the country’s highest civilian honour, to Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, in recognition of his efforts to strengthen bilateral relations.
The award was presented during a reception at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi.
Rama, who is visiting the UAE to attend Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, expressed pride in receiving the award, calling it a reflection of the strong friendship between the two nations.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in trade, investment and sustainability.
They also highlighted the importance of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week as a platform for international dialogue and collaboration on global sustainability challenges.
