The UAE has announced 540 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 38,808.
This comes after more than 44,000 coronavirus tests were conducted nationwide.
According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), one person has died from the virus, bringing the total death toll to 276.
Meanwhile, 745 more people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 21,806 in the UAE.
