UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a phone call with his Syrian counterpart Ahmed Al-Sharaa, during which they discussed the close, fraternal relations between their countries and ways to strengthen cooperation.
Al-Sharaa reaffirmed the depth of ties between the UAE and Syria.
The two leaders also addressed regional developments and their serious implications for security and stability, highlighting ongoing Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and other countries in the region, including strikes on civilians and civilian infrastructure.
Both presidents stressed that such actions violate sovereignty, international law and the UN Charter.
